Community Board for Fendalton

Bridget Williams is a qualified lawyer, experienced Community Board member, and the current Deputy Chair of the Community Board.

A strong advocate for smart, inclusive decision-making, she is now seeking her fourth term. Bridget brings a strong background in civic leadership and community engagement, and is known for her thoughtful, solutions-focused approach to issues such as sustainable planning, infrastructure, and local amenity improvements.

Alongside her public service, Bridget is the founder of a nationally recognised social enterprise that promotes action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Her impact has been acknowledged with honours including a nomination for Young New Zealander of the Year and recognition as a Local Hero Medallist at the 2023 New Zealander of the Year Awards.
